Moushira Elamrawy

Moushira is originally an architect and urban designer, with hands on experience of working with communities in remote areas in places like Egyptian Sinai Mountains and Moroccan Sahara.

After shifting to interaction design, she took her passion of the “remote and misfit” to similarly use technology to create experiences that bridge gaps and brings technology in different contexts and to different audiences.

Her latest technical execution was a public reflective installation of 700 triangles moving independently, questioning the relations with oneself and the surrounding.

Currently, she is exploring the use of fabrication technologies in circus and entertainment context.
